A LAVORO SU NUOVO MATERIALE

Durante lo scorso lockdown ho avuto molto tempo per esplorare il mio hard disk dove tengo i provini delle canzoni che ho scritto tra la fine del liceo e i primi anni di università a Roma. Si, in quella stanza vicino San Pietro ancora oggi ritengo di avere partorito le mie idee migliori.
Così ho riscoperto melodie interessanti messe da parte nella polvere che oggi valeva la pena di ristrutturare, modernizzare e riportare alla luce. Infatti, negli scorsi mesi primaverili ed estivi ho registrato nel mio studio i provini e oggi sono pronto a rimettermi a lavoro su questo nuovo progetto, pronto per andare dentro il caro Futura | Studio Recording & Production dove con il prezioso aiuto dell’amico Lorenzo Coriglione cominceremo le registrazioni definitive di questi brani riesumati. Se da questo ne uscirà un disco, un mini album o degli Ep ancora non lo so, per adesso la cosa che mi preme di più è registrare le mie canzoni affinché entrino a fare parte della mia personale collezione musicale dei miei lavori (oggi presente su www.eliamomusic.com) e per realizzare idee di tanto tempo fa che erano rimaste incomplete.
Certo, non posso fare a meno di riflettere su come brani appartenenti quasi ad un’altra vita, ancora oggi abbiano in me un così forte richiamo tanto da spingermi ad investire tempo e denaro per dare loro una forma professionale e dignitosa. Questo mi suggerisce che ci sono ancora cosa da dire su quel periodo adolescenziale o che forse la potenza e la voglia di farsi sentire di queste canzoni è tanta e così forte che esse sono riuscite a viaggiare nel tempo dentro la mia mente per arrivare qui nei miei giorni presenti a chiedermi di essere ascoltate nuovamente e riportate alla luce.
E dunque, che il lavoro abbia inizio!

During the last lockdown I had a lot of time to explore my hard drive where I keep the auditions of the songs I wrote between the end of high school and the first years of university in Rome. Yes, in that room near St. Peter's I still believe that I have given birth to my best ideas.
So I rediscovered interesting melodies set aside in the dust that today was worth restructuring, modernizing and bringing to light. In fact, in the past spring and summer months I recorded the auditions in my studio and today I'm ready to get back to work on this new project, ready to go inside dear Futura | Studio Recording & Production where with the precious help of our friend Lorenzo Coriglione we will begin the definitive recordings of these exhumed songs. Whether a disc, a mini album or an EP will come out of this I still don't know, for now the thing that matters to me most is to record my songs so that they become part of my personal musical collection of my works (today present on www.eliamomusic.com) and to realize ideas from a long time ago that had remained incomplete.
Of course, I can't help but reflect on how songs belonging almost to another life, still today have such a strong appeal in me that they push me to invest time and money to give them a professional and dignified shape. This suggests to me that there are still things to say about that adolescent period or that perhaps the power and the desire to be heard of these songs is so much and so strong that they have managed to travel through time inside my mind to get here in mine. days present to ask me to be heard again and brought back to light.
So let the work begin!
